Who are we?
Established in 2010 by returned Peace Corps volunteers and staff, we focus on providing scholarships and other educational support to students in The Gambia.
How do we operate?
We primarily target those who would otherwise be unable to continue their education.
We operate in all regions of The Gambia, with an emphasis on remote, rural areas where financial barriers to schooling can be most pronounced.
Our team of community-based coordinators, primarily teachers, identify local needs and distribute resources to eligible students.
100% of all donations go directly to supporting students.

How many students do we support?
Today, we support 5000+ students annually. From their earliest years in school, up to University.
2/3rd of our students are girls. 10% are studying at Gambia College or University of The Gambia.

Why do we do this?
Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and shape their own future. Yet in The Gambia, countless bright young minds—especially girls—are forced to abandon their education.
We believe that education is not just a privilege—it's a fundamental right and the most powerful catalyst for lasting change.
