One way to celebrate our marriage is by contributing to GambiaRising.
GambiaRising provides scholarships for impoverished children (mostly girls) to access and stay in primary and secondary school in The Gambia, where Julia was a Peace Corps Volunteer.

GambiaRising was founded and is supported in large part by returned Peace Corps Volunteers and staff who served in The Gambia and their family and friends. All the Gambians and Americans working on the program volunteer their time so 100% of your contribution will go to support students.
