GambiaRising was formed by returned Peace Corps The Gambia staff and returned Peace Corps volunteers. Naturally, we continue to work informally with a number of Peace Corps volunteers in The Gambia and also some of the Gambian staff of Peace Corps, who volunteer their service in their spare time. But it is important to note that GambiaRising has no formal relationship with Peace Corps or the U.S. government.
