You can help Working Water The Gambia (WWG) bring clean drinking water to every person in rural Gambia.

Please join us!

Since 2018, Working Water The Gambia (WWG) has been fixing or replacing rural Gambian wells where these are the only source of clean drinking water.  Our work is possible with the generous support of Water Charity, and collaboration with the Department of Rural Water at the Ministry of Fisheries and Water Resources.  We are collaborating with the Africa Development Bank and others to coordinate our work, which is informed by a survey we conducted in 2019 in which we visited, inspected, and photographed every well in rural villages not served by the national water supplier (NAWEC).

Please join us.  You can donate any amount here (and any amount is welcome).
Below: The open well in Sinchu  Sambuldu had become contaminated.  It was making people sick.

WWG dug a new borehole and installed a new handpump.  The community was thrilled.
