Stop FGM in Gambia

Stop FGM is a community-based, grassroot effort to end the practice of female genital mutilation in the rural community of Misera, The Gambia and surrounding villages.  We are fighting against female genital mutilation otherwise known as cutting.  We also fight for girls' empowerment, against child marriages, all forms of gender-based violence, teenage pregnancy, girls dropping out of schools.

We do this through education and sensitization, organizing with the girls of the area.
